Carl & Thelma Cramer's Garden Layout

All aboard for the garden! This garden railroad is a marriage of hobbies...an avid gardener and a train lover. The layout with over 300+ feet of track is designed around a water feature, plants and flowers.

The result is this charming village layout featuring two main lines and a street car that ambles from the village to the circus, airport and countryside. Stroll around this layout past perennials and annuals as you relax, step back in time, and watch the trains pass by. Carl and Thelma began this layout in 2002 and it has grown every year since then. They enjoy sitting out on summer evenings watching the trains go along their routes among businesses and flowers. For 2009 they added 4 buildings to the new town site and rebuilt the airport hangar, which was damaged by snow.
